Job Description
Burge Family Winemakers has a long, proud grape growing and winemaking history in the Barossa Valley with the current Burge Family Label operating since 1928. There is 25 acres of estate grown fruit with a large range of varieties and a winery with capacity of 100T to process this fruit.

We have a requirement for a casual cellar hand/all rounder. This role may develop into a permanent role if the candidate shows the necessary attributes. Due to the nature of the role only Australian residents will be considered. Hours will vary and the candidate will need to be flexible, however vintage will be full time and duties to commence immediately. Being a small facility there will be participation in all cellar duties, working closely with the winemaker. Additionally, there will be other duties at times, including some vineyard and garden maintenance.

Job Requirements
• The candidate will have at least one vintage experience and preferably two.
• Vineyard experience will also be considered favourable.
• Flexible with hours. Vintage will be full time.
• Able to follow instruction.
• Can work alone.
• Fit and able.Not scared of hard work.
• Not afraid to get hands dirty.
