Job Description
Seppeltsfield Wines, in the heart of the Barossa Valley, produces premium fortified and table wines using both modern and traditional techniques. Seppeltsfield Wines owns 3,100 acres across 3 regions including Barossa Valley, Eden Valley and Coonawarra; Barossa Valley being predominant.

We are currently seeking a hard working team member for the position of Viticultural Technical Officer.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will need to have the following attributes/skills:
• Eligibility to work in Australia – you must be a citizen or permanent resident
• Highly Enthusiastic
• Hard Working and Self Motivating
• Flexibility with hours
• Ability to work positively with others in a team
• Practical knowledge of viticulture
• Exceptional Communication Skills & Basic Writing and Numeracy Skills
• Licences or certificates relevant to the industry will be highly regarded.

Reporting to the Vineyard Manager, your main duties will include:

• Pest and Disease monitoring
• Baume Sampling
• Regular reporting/communication to Vineyard Manager
• Supervision/Management of labour hire contractors
• Harvest Scheduling
• Ability to calibrate various implements/machinery
• A proactive approach to Work Health & Safety

Remuneration: a salary package will be negotiated according to experience and qualifications of the successful candidate
