Job Description
Glenlofty Estate is a highly awarded 130 hectare vineyard producing outstanding wine in the Pyrenees region of Western Victoria. A range of aspects, elevations and soil types in this picturesque vineyard result in a very rewarding location for growing grapes for world-class table wines. Major red varietals include shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, merlot and nebbiolo. White varietals include chardonnay, roussanne, marsanne and viognier.

Glenlofty’s cool climate wines are very different from Margaret River, Yarra Valley and Canberra – they are often compared with the wines of the northern Rhone. Chapoutier is Glenlofty’s next door neighbour.

A strong sense of community, growth and cooperation exists within the Pyrenees and Grampians wine regions and this underpins excellent prospects for a fulfilling work/life experience. The region is under 2 hours from Melbourne airport.

Glenlofty Estate, with Decameron vineyard and Blue Pyrenees Estate, is a member of the Richmond-Smith wine group, currently embarked on a solid capex program to upgrade vineyard facilities while expanding market penetration, especially offshore. The group’s wines are all made at Blue Pyrenees Estate, Avoca.
Glenlofty Vineyard has new tractors and sprayers, excellent facilities and modern equipment.
