Job Description
Lodestone Australia operates a premium small batch Winery located at Mount Torrens in the Adelaide Hills.
Lodestone Winery processes approximately 1000 tonnes of grapes annually and also offers Traditional Method Sparkling Wine production and packaging services to its contract clients.

We are looking for Vintage Cellar Hands and an Assistant Winemaker to work full time during the harvest period. The positions are offered on a Full Time, Ten Week Fixed Term Contract basis. The term may be extended on a casual basis depending on how vintage progresses.
The successful applicants will be enthusiastic, possess a "can do" attitude and be keen to learn and take on new challenges.
The roles will involve 12 hour shift work and 6 day weeks for much of the harvest period.

Job Requirements
The Cellar Hands and Assistant Winemaker will be required to undertake all aspects of vintage cellar work, grape processing and wine production.
The roles are physically active and will involve overtime hours and the likelihood of nightshift rotation.
The Assistant Winemaker will report to and be guided by our Winemaking Team. They will assume some responsibility for supervising cellar staff and managing the production process in accordance with our policies and procedures.
A Forklift operators licence is desirable.
