Job Description
Are you passionate about making cool climate Pinot Noir and Fizz?

The team at Stefano Lubiana are looking for an assistant winemaker to take over the day
to day operations at the winery.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a small Pinot / Chard / Fizz focused winery making quality certified biodynamic wines from some of the best vineyards in Tasmania in which we own and operate. Total production approx
180 tonnes of hand-picked fruit.

The successful applicant will be working together with Marco and Steve.

Job Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:

The usual winemaking drill, including;
• Make, filter, bottle wine.
• Lab analysis ( bare minimum)
• Record keeping ( still use paper here )
• Order bottles, closures, corks, labels, etc. for purchase.
• Organise and supervise staff for bottling/vintage.
• Other duties, vineyard work if you have a green thumb and time allows.

Requirements:

• Australian Resident
• 3-5 years of experience as senior cellarhand /winemaker/assistant winemaker.
• Valid Driver's license and forklift license.
• Physically fit.
• Have a passion for fine wine especially Pinot Noir
• Almost OCD attention to detail
