Henschke now has an exciting and rare opportunity available to join the team in the following role:
Cellar Door Manager
In this full time role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our visitors are provided with a memorable experience when visiting our Cellar Door and historic winery. You will also be responsible for the day to day functioning of the Cellar Door and leading the Cellar Door Sales team.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Providing all visitors and guests to the winery with the highest level of customer service and professionalism
• Arranging and hosting wine tastings and winery tours
• Collaboration with winery departments to ensure orders are processed and sent within agreed timeframes
• Regular reporting around stock, sales and visitor numbers
• Development and maintenance of relevant SOPs
• Executing any marketing initiatives and offers for Cellar Door
• Rostering, training and development of the Cellar Door team
You’ll bring strong team leadership experience to this role and the ability to work collaboratively across all departments of the Henschke team. You’ll be enthusiastic and an effective communicator who personifies Henschke’s culture and values around collaboration, integrity, accountability, respect and continuous improvement. You’ll use your wine knowledge to showcase our exceptional wines and your passion for the Wine Industry will shine through as you share our rich history with visitors to the winery.
Your experience in successfully leading a Cellar Door team and your ability to effectively manage your time will stand you in good stead for this role. You’ll hold current RSA certification, and further education in WSET or similar will be advantageous.
An attractive salary commensurate with your experience will be offered. There is also the expectation that you will be flexible with your work days across a Monday to Saturday roster.
