Job Description
Based in the heart of Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley, Brokenwood Wines is one of Australia's most reputable wine producers. Sourcing grapes from premium wine regions, Brokenwood Wines prides itself on producing exceptional wines. With the opening of our outstanding new cellar door facility, there has never been a more exciting time to join the Brokenwood Crew.

Job Requirements
Working closely with the Senior Winemaker, Assistant Winemaker and Lead Cellar Hand, key responsibilities of this role include;

• Fruit processing
• Preparation, filling and maintenance of fermentation tanks and barrels
• Operation and maintenance of presses
• Monitoring and management of juice and ferments
• Tanker operations
• Assistance with laboratory analysis
• Wine sample preparation
• Preparation of winery documentation for cellar operations

The successful applicant will have experience in a similar role within the wine industry as well as a current forklift licence. 

While not essential, relevant tertiary qualifications as well as familiarity with WHS requirements will be highly regarded.

All staff are required to undertake a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing. You must be physically fit and willing and able to work extended hours during Vintage.
