Job Description
Ross Hill Wines is a progressive family owned and operated wine business, situated in the stunning cool climate region of Orange, NSW Australia.

We are seeking a highly competent, motivated and results driven Chief Winemaker, who is willing to understand, work with and improve nuances of the Ross Hill brands and styles. Fruit sources are from a number of premium cool climate vineyards in the Orange region - which are both our own and contract grown.

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate leadership, technical and commonsense ability, have very good communication skills, strong work ethic and be a team player.
Job Requirements
* Winemaking covering a range of specialist styles
* Day to day management of cellar operation
* Must have very good technical ability with quality control as well as adding technical assistance to the team
* Participation in wine dinners & other activities as organised by Ross Hill
* Must have good communication skills interacting with internal & external stakeholders
* Tertiary degree in Oenology or equivalent
* Minimum of 5 years experience - preferably with some overseas experience
