Fantastic affluent territory of Sydney CBD, Eastern Suburbs and Northern Beaches with dedicated customers and over a decade of loyalty. Chateau Tanunda's Grand Barossa brand is a favourite Barossa brand amongst consumer and retailer.

Our recent launch of ‘Old Vine Expression’ (OVE) luxury wines presents new business opportunities and is all about showcasing the significant history and special wine characteristics of a selection of old vine vineyards for which the Barossa valley is world famous. The Barossa Old Vines Charter was instituted to register vineyards by age, so that older vines could be preserved, retained and promoted. These wines are unique and world renowned.

Our Fine Wine Sales Representative will build new distribution of our OVE Brands in the destination accounts of Fine wine retail, On-premise and corporate channels within Australia.

As well as maintaining and growing a substantive base of independent trade customers, build relationships with fine wine managers in Dan Murphys stores and Vintage Cellars, using a minimum of 7 years experience you will provide a polished and well executed fine wine sales experience for our clients.

Create and implement a fine wine sales strategy for the next 2-4 years
Increase customer base, distribution points and sales
Grow existing and new business opportunities
Build relationships and educate independent retailers and chains to gain a greater understanding of Chateau Tanunda wines and winemaking philosophy
Conduct trade and consumer tastings to build the profile of Chateau Tanunda wines
Merchandising of wines in stores
Work across Sydney CBD, Eastern Suburbs and Northern Beaches
Job Requirements
Our Fine Wine Representative will be epicurean by nature and have a passion for wine, food, learning, and history. Proven achievements in premium or luxury brands only increase your appetite for further success.

You will need:

A strong fine wine retail and on trade network
Proficient wine knowledge and experience in the wine industry combined with consummate sales skills
Wine and Spirit Trust (WSET) Level 3-4 preferred
Sales strategy and analysis
7+ years experience in Sales
Flexible work hours, evening work is a part of this role
