Job Description
CORE Cider is a rapidly growing orchard, cider producer and tourist destination in the Perth Hills, with the aim to be reknowned as one of Australia's best cider brands. Locally, CORE Cider House is one of the region's top attractions, greeting visitors year-round for tours, restaurant and with a new tasting room opening soon.

Job Requirements
CORE's Head Cidermaker is accountable for the whole cidermaking process from sourcing the raw materials through to ensuring the kegged and bottled product is safely dispatched from the cider house. The Cidermaker is also accountable for cleaning and sanitisation duties, production planning, supply chain, equipment maintenance and quality management. The Cidermaker works together with the CORE team to ensure the support of Sales & Marketing, Service, Operations, and business goals.

• Information Management - keep timely and accurate operations records and make informed decisions based on this
• Planning & analysis - preparing deparmental plans and ROI analysis
• Standard Operating Procedures & Policies - works in compliance with these, as well as development and assisting with improvement
• Quality Control planning, updating and compliance
vQA/QC in new product development
• Staff supervision - oversea assistance
• Equipment Maintenance - assists with preventative maintenance and repairs
• Project Management - as directed, acts as PM on new Operations initiatives when requested
• Public Relations - when required, represent CORE Cider at promotion events and works with the Events Coordinator. Conducts site tours for media and customers on rare occasions; performs PR duties as required
• Supports management, the Operations Team and other CORE divisions when requested

• Proven success in fostering positive change as well as a continuous improvement mindset
• Exceptional communication skills and a positive 'can-do' attitude to build and maintain positive internal and external relations to harbour a great CORE culture
• Superior skills using database, spreadsheet and drawing tools
• A willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings to meet business needs to promote the CORE Cider brand
• A high degree of professionalism, initiative and personal accountability
• The ability to work well under pressure, and to effectively prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• The ability to assess problems, recommend actions and implement appropriate solutions
• The ability and licence to operate a forklift and other production equipment, manually lift 25kg
• A valid driver's licence
