Job Description
We seek a competent, reliable and self-motivated team member willing and able to manage and operate our analytical and quality control laboratory.

Responsibilities include:
• Routine analytical and enzymatic analysis
• Preparation of winemaking trials
• Fermentation monitoring
• Preparation of tirage cultures and dosage for sparkling wine
• Data entry into the winery management system
• Maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures
• Involvement in SQF documentation & audits
• Maintenance & calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Stock control and maintenance of goods inwards

Job Requirements
Reporting to:
The winemaking team, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate close attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, enthusiasm, a concern for wine quality and safe working practices.
The position also requires the ability to work extended hours during the vintage period.
Remuneration is in accordance with experience and the Wine Industry Award 2010.
