Based at the Angaston winery in the Barossa, this is an opportunity to join the Marketing team to lead and drive brand strategy for the Yalumba brand.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Marketing, you will be responsible for providing leadership and brand direction in alignment with the company’s aspirations and values, while one of the team is on parental leave. You will be working with talented brand managers, supporting and guiding existing projects and developing new and innovative programs to further grow brand equity. We need a brand champion to carry oversight of brand governance, product and digital marketing and content creation. You shall work closely with in-house colleagues in PR, Communications, Winemaking and Sales.
While this is a short-term assignment, the expectation is that far from being a baby-sitter for projects already underway, you will bring leadership, energy and a fresh perspective to drive strategic and tactical activities.

You are a degree-qualified professional marketer, with keen commercial sensibilities and a track record of success in the wine business. You understand how to leverage portfolio, category and consumer insights within both the Australian and global environments.
You enjoy establishing strong working relationships, are a natural collaborator and work with sales teams to achieve targets. You have a track record of managing NPD projects and enjoy the accountability of managing brand budgets and expenses, while keeping a sharp focus on return on investment.
