Job Requirements
The Taltarni/Clover Hill board is seeking to appoint an additional, non-executive director. Ideally his/her current, or recently demonstrated, skills and attributes should include:

• Extensive wine (or beverage alcohol) management experience, preferably including key international markets
• Specialist financial skills/experience in the branded wine business at senior-management level
• A proven, finance-based strategic overview of the Australian branded wine business esp. relating to volume/value growth, asset and resource development, acquisition, brand premiumization, strategic alliances, risk management, etc.
• A sound, director-level grasp of financial and management corporate compliance requirements
• Good understanding of the dynamics and drivers of premium, family-owned (wine) businesses including, inter alia, vineyard management, grape supply forecasting, stock control, performance analysis, long-term planning and budgeting.
• Wide personal and business contacts in the Australian (and, ideally, international) wine business

Both companies’ brands are considered to be in excellent health; they are currently enjoying levels of both consumer and professional acclaim which represent a high point in their history. Effective, third-party wholesale distribution is well established in all Australian states and key offshore markets.
