Job Description
In this newly created position the Senior Winemaker, reporting to the Directors (and Executive Winemaker), will be responsible for the leadership and mentoring of a small winemaking team in the execution of Atlas Wines' annual winemaking & production plans.

The successful applicant will be required to manage the winemaking process from vineyard to bottle. This includes the management of the two Atlas Wines production sites, overseeing contract winemaking relationships and grower liaison. The role will involve technical, operational & hands-on production winemaking for all wines in conjunction with the Executive Winemaker, including input on harvest decisions, blending & style direction and ultimately helping to guide the future direction of the winery, business and brands.

This is a senior winemaking role within a unique, dynamic and growing small wine business. This appointment represents a significant strategic investment on behalf of the owners who are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Winemaker who can bring demonstrated experience in a responsible winemaking role and significant production management skills and experience to the position. An attractive salary that is commensurate with the role is to be negotiated with the successful candidate.
Job Requirements
This is a senior winemaking role which requires considerable responsible winemaking experience.
