See Saw Wine is a family owned business that aspires to be the leading grape grower in the cool climate region of Orange in NSW. See Saw operates 175ha of vineyard with 120ha certified organic and provides fruit to 15 wineries.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced, dynamic, goal driven vineyard manager to join our team and push our viticulture standards to ensure we meet grape quality and economic targets.
The vineyard manager will be in charge of our iconic Balmoral vineyard. This vineyard is 52ha in size and is recognised for it excellent fruit quality that has gone on to win many wine trophies.
The successful candidate will have extensive vineyard experience, high attention to detail, excellent team leadership and be able to communicate both to the owners and staff.
They will be a strategic thinker, self-motivated and have a heart felt desire to grow a crop that meets end use targets and take on the responsibility of that crop.
The position will have a attractive package with a salary to reflect experience and capabilities.
Hands on operation of all vineyard activity
Sound knowledge of machine operation and maintenance
Develop budgets and work to them
Deliver quality through timeliness and attention to detail
The ability to work to targets
You will need:
Car driver licence or truck
Chemical user certificate
Experience in vineyard management or qualifications in agriculture
Australian residency or able to have working visa
