Job Description
Established by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) in 1851, Sevenhill Cellars is the oldest winery in the Clare Valley and a highly regarded producer of red, white and fortified wines. Sevenhill Cellars crush around 450 tonne annually, over 19 different varieties. There is an emphasis on traditional winemaking, especially through the use of the old slate fermenters, while also embracing modern practices. The main varieties produced are Riesling, Shiraz, Cabernet, Grenache and Merlot, with some of our Shiraz vines over 150yrs of age.

We require cellar staff to join the Sevenhill team for the 2019 vintage.

Job Requirements
The position is suited to experienced cellar hands or winemaking graduates who are looking to gain experience in a premium winemaking region.

The vintage positions will be available in late January or early February. Applicants should be self-motivated, team-orientated, able to work unsupervised and show initiative. Forklift license is desirable.

Applicants must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid existing Australian work visa.
