In the same portfolio of iconic wineries and within the responsibilities of this role are three further British Columbia estates: Cedar Creek Estate Winery, CheckMate Artisanal Winery and Martin’s Lane Winery. Each estate has its own market-relevant, product range, based on contemporary expressions of cool climate (esp. Bordeaux/Burgundy) varieties at key price points. The flagships are internationally acclaimed luxury/icon wines.

Reporting to Mission Hill’s General Manager, the new role of VP International Sales calls for an experienced, dynamic and visionary individual. You will lead the development and implementation of Mission Hill and its associated estates’ individual brand strategies, sales and marketing in Canada and, especially, key international markets. Mission Hill’s partner company, Mark Anthony Wines and Spirits, handles Canadian national distribution. Managing this relationship and growing prestige international distribution (esp. UK/EU, USA, Asia) are two key priorities for the role.
Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need a relevant university degree and a minimum of 6 years international, luxury/fine wine brand sales and marketing management experience in a leadership role. During this time, you will have established effective personal and commercial relationships in leading international markets, attested by the successful positioning and sales of your brands.

You will enjoy “living your brands” – this naturally requires outstanding communication and influencing skills, based on an effective grasp of the social, cultural and commercial dynamics of each key market, to which you will travel extensively. Your career will demonstrate that you are: motivated, commercial, entrepreneurial, creative, an excellent brand-strategic thinker who is able to lead, communicate your values and initiatives and inspire others.
