Description

Australian Vintage Limited is a progressive and dynamic publicly listed Company with an intimacy like no other corporate giant. We currently have a vacancy to join our innovative Winemaking team based at our Merbein Packaging site situated approximaltey 10km from Mildura, Victoria.

Reporting to the Senior Winemaker, this role will see you contribute and participate in winemaking responsibilities for the group, including:

Preparation of wine for packaging including table wine, cask, sparkling, fortifieds and creams;
Wine maturation, blending and bottling management;
Ensuring control standards are met in compliance with relevant legislation;
Monitoring and development of daily work programs;
Form a close liaise with the senior winemaker / cellar hands and contribute to overall team; and
Develop an understanding and proficiency of winery plant and equipment, procedures and systems.

Well developed computer skills and experience in the use of Ezy Wine is preferable, as is your desire to become an integral and accomplished team member. Appropriate tertiary qualifications in wine science or equivalent are required.
