Vintage Photo Pics
14/04/2010
Each week we are running a competition to see who has the snappiest trigger finger coupled with an eye for art. Sometimes we'll even reward stupidity!
Grab your trusty camera, and lets see some of the action going on at your place. They don't have to be of Kevin Judd quality, however I will be sending a bottle of wine to the person who submits the best snap of the week, every week, for the next 10 weeks. A bottle of wine is in the post for you if your photo gets published here - enjoy. Week 1 (9/2/2010) - Submitted by Dale Harman - Rosemount Estate - Denman Winery Week 2 (16/2/2010) - Submitted by Anna Aldridge - The Wingara Wine Group Anna Wrote: "Hi Glen – received the bottle of 51 Grange today thanks very much. Enjoyed a good chuckle when I took the bottle out of the box and saw your post it! Thanks, look forward to trying it. Regards, Anna Aldridge | Wingara Wine Group Pty Ltd " Week 3 (23/2/2010) - Submitted by Deborah Buck - Vintage Worker
Week 4 (2/3/2010) - Submitted by Adam Holmberg - Arrowfield Estate - Hunter Valley
Adam Wrote: "Myself and the vineyard manager are having a play with the box ends from the shriaz after the harvester went through. The barrel is an 07 french 225L that we knocked the head out of and shaved with the electric plane and retoasted with the gas torch." Week 5 (9/3/2010) - Submitted by Amanda Lerch - Ballandean Estate Here is a picture of Amanda looking totally tanked!

Cat wrote: Hi Glen, this one was taken about a fortnight ago while picking our Sav Blanc at around 5am. The fruit was spectacular :) Week 8 (30/3/2010) - Submitted by Jodie Butler, Thachi Wines, Berri
Week 9 (7/4/2010) - Submitted by Brett Schutz, Tamar Ridge Wines, Tasmania
Brett wrote: Sundays see us catching up from the busy week prior, but it doesn’t take long for the spiders to weave some magic up at the press area on a typical foggy Tassie morning! Week 10 (14/4/2010) - Submitted by Brendan Osman - Yaldarra Estate - Barossa Brendan wrote:- Hi Glen, I've taken a few sunrise pics from up on the catwalk at Yaldara Estate in the Barossa, this is my favourite, because it seems to portry the energy and mood(good and bad) of the oncoming day. Thank you to all who supported this fun vintage initiative. I look forward to running the photo comp again next year. |
