Job Description
Bird in Hand is a modern, family owned Adelaide Hills winery which produces premium cool climate wines and is located only 30 minutes form the Adelaide CBD. We are seeking motivated applicants to join our Vintage 2021 cellar team.

Working with our winemakers and permanent cellar crew, we are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking cellar hands with a genuine passion for making wine at the highest quality. We offer diversity in our vintage cellar hand roles and encourage a balanced and supportive environment of work, learning and fun. During the peak of harvest you may be required to work up to 12 hours a day for 6 days a week. Previous cellar experience is essential.

Specific job responsibilities include:
• weighbridge and fruit receival
• crusher/ destemmer operation
• press operation
• wine & juice transfers
• juice inoculation
• tank & equipment cleaning /sterilization
• barrel topping/stirring, filling and racking

Job Requirements
