Mount Pleasant Wines is an iconic Australian winery located in the Hunter Valley. With over 700 acres of land over four locations Mount Pleasant produces 10,000 cases of premium wine and has been operating since 1921. It currently employs 14 staff in the vineyards, winery, cellar door, and administration.

About the role:
Working in beautiful Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley NSW, this Vineyard Leading Hand role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a small but dynamic team. The primary objective of this role is to support and assist the Vineyard Manager in all aspects of the daily operations involved in the running of our historic vineyards.

Key responsibilities and tasks include:
•	Perform regular vineyard maintenance tasks, ensuring the health and growth of vines.
•	Assist with seasonal activities such as pruning, canopy management, and grape harvesting.
•	Tractor operations including slashing, mulching, and spraying.
•	Undertake trellising and irrigation system checks to support optimal vine growth. Providing repairs and maintenance to the irrigation system as required.
•	Manage the maintenance and repairs for all the vineyard tractors and machinery.
•	Ensure equipment is operating at high efficiency during peak harvest season.
•	Record keeping with the ability to follow best practice policy and procedures.
•	Contribute to the ongoing culture of health and safety.

Working in beautiful Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley, this hands-on Vineyard Operator role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a small but dynamic team. Reporting to the Vineyard Manager the position offers the opportunity to be actively involved in a wide range of day-to-day vineyard operations. You will play an important part in supporting overall vineyard productivity and quality.

Key responsibilities and tasks include
•	Perform regular vineyard maintenance tasks, ensuring the health and growth of vines.
•	Assist with seasonal activities such as pruning, canopy management, and grape harvesting.
•	Tractor operations including slashing, mulching, and spraying.
•	Undertake trellising and irrigation system checks to support optimal vine growth. Providing repairs and maintenance to the irrigation system as required.
•	General tidying duties, ensuring the vineyard and surrounding areas are well-maintained.
•	Basic repair work, including fixing minor issues with tools, equipment, or vineyard structures.
•	Record keeping with the ability to follow best practice policy and procedures.
•	Contribute to the ongoing culture of health and safety.
