About the business.
Based in the heart of Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley, Brokenwood Wines is one of Australia's most reputable wine producers. Sourcing over 1,000 tonnes from premium wine regions, Brokenwood Wines prides itself on producing exceptional wines. A rare opportunity exists for a Cellar Hand to join our winemaking team for the duration of Vintage 2022.

About the role.
Working closely with our Winemakers and a diverse team of permanent and vintage Cellar Hands, this role will be responsible for:
- Fruit processing.
- Preparation, filling and maintenance of fermentation tanks and barrels.
- Operation of presses.
- Monitoring and management of juice and ferments.
- Tanker operations.
- Assistance with laboratory analysis.
- General Winery hygiene

Depending on vintage conditions employment generally begins mid-January and finishes end of April. Subsidised onsite accommodation and meals are provided.
Job Requirements
The successful applicant will:
- Currently reside in Australia and be able to commence work from January 2022.
- Have some experience in a similar role within the wine industry.
- Be physically fit and willing and able to work extended hours during Vintage.
- A forklift license is not essential, but would be highly regarded.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
