2022 VINTAGE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR CELLAR STAFF AT TAHBILK WINERY
Tahbilk is a progressive family owned winery and vineyard in Nagambie, Central Victoria, Australia. We crush 1500-2000 Tonnes of Estate grown fruit and are proud to be a certified Carbon Neutral Winery. We are driven to produce some of the best wines on the market whilst maintaining a commitment to a sustainable future.
Tahbilk specialises in full bodied traditionally made reds, made using open fermenters and large format oak casks for maturation. The white wines are contemporary in style, concentrating on the Rhone varieties, Marsanne in particular. We are certified for organic production and own a fully certified organic vineyard in addition to the estate.
We are looking for motivated "hands-on" cellar hands for 2022. Our vintage generally starts in February and runs for approximately 10 weeks and although we work long hours, we try to make vintage fun, and not too stressful.
The winery is 7 km from the nearest town of Nagambie and 90 minutes from Melbourne. Our winery team are well trained, experienced, easy going locals, and we bring in both Australian and international cellar hands to assist with vintage.
**However, please note - Australia’s international boarders are currently closed and are highly unlikely to reopen before the 2022 harvest. Therefore, APPLICANTS MUST HOLD AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP/RESIDENCY OR BE IN THE COUNTRY WITH A VALID WORK VISA UNTIL AT LEAST MAY 2022.**
Please send your C.V. and cover letter email using the 'APPLY FOR JOB' link above for an opportunity to secure a position working with premium Central Victorian fruit.
Prior vintage winery/laboratory experience and a current Australian forklift licence will be strong assets for your application, but not mandatory.

"A winery steeped in tradition, which should be visited at least once by every wine-conscious Australian, and which makes wines – particularly red wines – utterly in keeping with that tradition."
