Seppeltsfield Wines in the Barossa Valley, South Australia, is part of the Randall Wine Group

We are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity for cellar operators (casual) to apply to join our award-winning winemakers and experienced cellar team for Vintage 2025.
About the Position
Seppeltsfield Wines is seeking applications from enthusiastic individuals interested in positions as casual cellar operators for Vintage 2025.
Starting from early to mid-February for a minimum of 8 weeks, this role works across a 13-day fortnight.
Responsibilities in this role may include:
• Working hands-on both individually and within small dedicated teams
• General cellar work: transfers, additions, sampling, blending and pump overs
• Maintaining high levels of cellar hygiene
• Basic maintenance as required
• Operation of machinery – crusher, press, centrifuge, RDV, tractor
• Loading/unloading tankers
• Shift work, up to 12 hours per day. Including continuous day or continuous night shifts
Remuneration will be commensurate to experience and governed by the Wine Industry Award.
Job Requirements
About You
The successful applicants may have:
• Previous vintage experience
• Experience with machinery operation – crusher, press, RDV, centrifuge
• Experience with working individually and within teams
• Punctuality, good communication and ability to learn new skills
• An understanding of the winemaking process
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Current Drivers Licence
• Current Forklift License – desirable but not essential
• Evidence of eligibility to work in Australia will be required
