Job Description
The Cellar Door Hospitality/Sales Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Cellar Door. Tasks may include hosting customer wine tasting experiences and processing subsequent sales, promoting wine club membership, maintaining Cellar Door stock levels, preparing and despatching wine orders, the provision of food service and assisting at events.
Reporting to the Direct to Consumer Sales/Administration Assistant, Clover Hill Wines, this role works closely with other Cellar Door Sales Assistants.
Job Requirements
a) Language skills: Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have the ability to communicate with all company personnel, Cellar Door visitors and wine club members with a customer-centric focus.
b) Excellent time management skills: Able to prioritise their own work and ensure deadlines are met and accuracy is maintained.
c) High attention to detail: Able to ensure that the details of the role are maintained at the required quality levels on a consistent basis.
d) Work Health and Safety (WHS) awareness: Must have knowledge of and be able to comply with WHS guidelines.
e) Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA): Must hold a current RSA certificate.
f) Ability to travel: Must possess a valid driver licence.
g) Intermediate computer skills:
h) Readiness to follow instructions: Must be ready to receive and follow instructions, as and when they are given.
i) Readiness to ask questions: Must be ready to ask questions at any time where further understanding is required.
j) Physical requirements: Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, bend, climb (ladders) and undertake manual labour.
