We have an international reputation for outstanding world class wines, are family owned and have modern winemaking excellence based on old-vine vineyards, European-Australian heritage and an unrivalled history and legacy in estates and buildings.

This is a rare opportunity to join our team as Cellar Door Manager. To be considered for this role you will be an energetic, focused and enthusiastic self-starter who takes responsibility and ownership of their role and has strong strategic vision. The position is full time, working Thursday to Monday.

Key Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for leading and supervising the Cellar Door team and maintaining exceptional customer service while achieving outstanding sales results. Using networking and lead generation, the Cellar Door Manager attracts a strong customer base and provides them with an unforgettable cellar door experience.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Managing the day to day operation of Cellar Door
• Hosting tastings for a range of customers
• Drive and grow wine sales and wine club sign up
• Positively contribute towards fulfilment of WHS obligations

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience:

We are looking for someone with strong organisational skills and great focus that is ready to embrace a hands-on role. You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing Cellar Door and direct to customer sales experience is essential.

• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent communication and self-presentation skills
• Proactive and enthusiastic self-starter
• Strong network of potential clients and good local knowledge
• Valid RSA and drivers’ licence
• First Aid certificate is preferred
