Job Description
Oakvale Wines is looking for a dedicated Cellar Door Manager to join our team. We are seeking an energetic leader with a passion for organic wine and hospitality. A management role with responsibilities for the day-to-day operations and organization of the Cellar Door. Including;

• Overseeing the front of house team
• Hosting customer tastings
• General administration and reporting
• Staff management – rostering, training and mentoring
• Supplier management
• Stock control
• Co-ordinating with winemaking team
• Work with Wine Club Manager to grow membership
• Assist in execution of wine events
• Assist in website and social media

Job Requirements
Skills required for this position are:

• Have exceptional customer service skills
• Professional and positive team leader
• Strong wine knowledge – WSET or equivalent is desirable
• Strong experience and proven track record in a cellar door/wine sales environment
• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role
• Excellent presentation & communication skills to deliver an engaging experience for guests
• Excellent administration skills
• Adaptable with good time management skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Facebook and Instagram
• Current RSA
• Current drivers licence
• Food handling or Food Safety Supervisor certificate an advantage
• Forklift licence an advantage
