Job Description

AVL’s Merbein packaging winery produces wines in multiple glass and closure formats as well as bag in box and has implemented one of the most technologically advanced bottling lines in Australia with sparkling capability.

Our company currently has an exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced Cellar Hand based in the Mildura region.
Job Requirements
Reporting to the Cellar Manager, the successful candidate will perform key tasks including, but not limited to:

• Cellar operations such as transfers, filtration & despatch to packaging lines, plus completing associated paperwork
• Loading & unloading tankers
• Making additions to & collecting samples from wine tanks
• Tank cleaning, line setup & general housekeeping
• Maintenance & monitoring of all wine on site to uphold wine quality

Previous winery or similar bulk liquid environment experience is essential and applicants with a current forklift license will be highly regarded.

Also critical to your success will be a willingness to work overtime and/or shifts as required and to become an integral part of the Australian Vintage Team.
