Job Description
Make Wines Australia is a part of the Bickford’s Group producing a wide range of quality products at our Langhorne Creek winery. We produce premium wines from our McLaren Vale and Blewitt Springs vineyards for the expanding Beresford Estate range. We also produce other well developed products such as Press & Bloom, Galway Pipe Grand Tawny, Queen Adelaide, Andrew Garrett, Boronia Marsala, Three Oaks Cider and Bickford’s pomegranate juice.

We are looking for a keen and energetic cellar hand to work as an integral part of our small, close-knit team through Vintage 2021. The range of styles and products we produce presents a great opportunity to widen your experience. Vintage Cellar Hands would be required to commence in late February through to late April or into May 2021 working 2 shifts in the middle of harvest and no night shift.

We can offer valuable exposure to a wide range of products and cellar processes from small batch whites, sparkling, brandy spirit base, premium red wines in tiny parcels, larger batches of red wines for our sister brands and fortified wine bases, ciders utilising fresh Adelaide Hills apple juice, grape juice concentrating and more.
Job Requirements
Vintage Cellar Hand

• The ability to work well in a close-knit team and to be autonomous when required
• Reliable, trustworthy and energetic
• A friendly, cheerful and positive attitude
• Ability to work flexible hours mainly during the vintage period
• Understanding of safe work practices
• Driver’s licence required
Forklift licence will be highly regarded
First time cellar hands are encouraged to apply.
