Embarking on significant expansion, promotion, and branding activities, they are now seeking to appoint a passionate Financial Controller as the business continues its growth.

Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and with strong working relationships across the organisation, the role will lead the finance team, charged with ensuring the timely completion of monthly management accounting reporting, analysis, and playing a key role in the completion of the half year and full year reports and annual audit. Specifically, your responsibilities will include,

Leadership of the entire Finance Team
Oversee financial reporting, preparation of budgets, variance analysis and statutory compliance.
Oversee financial and ERP systems, building capability and capacity.
Foster a positive, safe, and collaborative work environment and building competency within the finance team
Provide strategic advice on cash flow, debt management, and cost analysis.
Preparation, analysis and commentary on financial reports for Management.
Liaise with vineyard staff and management in the preparation of Management Accounts.
Completion of half year and full year external audit of various Group entities.
Management of Asset register and depreciation schedule.
Prepare and process Bank leasing transactions for capital items.
Liaising with bankers for the various Group entities.
Perform other duties as requested from time to time.
Job Requirements
The Successful Candidate

As the ideal candidate, you will have well-developed skills in similar financial leadership roles, likely to have been gained within the Wine/ Beverage, FMCG sector. With strong operational skills, financial analysis, experience and understanding of Lean Manufacturing processes and Quality Assurance, you have the ability to communicate with clarity and authority, coupled with well-developed leadership capabilities. You thrive in delivering effective financial management solutions and exceptional inter/ intra customer service. Naturally you will have a relevant financial degree and CA/CPA qualification. Combined with strong stakeholder management skills, integrity and self-motivation, you are now looking to take the next step in your career and to make your mark within an icon South Australian winery organisation that supports its people.
