Job Description

Delatite Wines of Mansfield Victoria have been committed to the growing and marketing of natural, cool climate wines for decades.

Delatite is investing in a new Cellar Door and Restaurant facility that is located to take advantage of their amazing Mt Buller views, and fitted out to deliver hospitality and food in a sustainable, approachable and genuine way.

With this investment David Ritchie and his partners are looking for a General Manager to project-manage this development, to manage the hospitality and visitor experience, and manage the Delatite wine brand.

The role will be based at the Winery in Mansfield and will remunerate the successful candidate with a package commensurate with their skills and experience.


Job Requirements

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate project management skills, hospitality management competency, commercial acumen, and have wine industry brand and sales management experience.

Understanding of viticulture and wine making is of benefit, but not essential, as is financial qualification.

Delatite is a multi award winning family owned winery and vineyard established in 1982, since 2009 rated with five red stars by James Halliday.

Our Estate and Reserve wines are made entirely from our 28 ha vineyard and we also purchase grapes for our High Ground wines.

The vineyard has been run along Bio dynamic lines since 2005 and all our wines fermented without the addition of commercial yeasts since 2009.

Best known for our aromatics - Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot gris - we also produce Pinot noir, Shiraz, Tempranillo, red blends and traditional method sparklings.
