Job Description
In just a decade, Airoldi Fine Wines (AFW) has established itself as a leading Eastern States importer and distributor of fine and boutique wines. Led by French-born MD, Daniel Airoldi, AFW’s market-relevant portfolio has a strong emphasis on both classic and country French wines. The offering includes world- renowned, independent producers from major Australian regions, California, Chile, South Africa, Spain and Italy.
Following a Covid-necessitated restructure of the business, a new role has been created for an experienced Key Accounts Manager. For the right individual, this senior role will come with a high level of autonomy in managing the territory and sharing in the sales success.
Job Requirements
The successful applicant for this role will probably have a relevant tertiary qualification and will need at least three years wine sales and key account management experience. You should demonstrate the ability to analyze, innovate, and leverage sales opportunities across the full range of accounts.
You will have a strong capacity for strategic thinking, planning, analysis and the business acumen necessary to drive the company’s sales and margin results.
Key to overall performance in the role will be excellent personal presentation and negotiation skills, backed by a high level of domestic and international wine knowledge (preferably WSET III) and a dependable commercial palate.
The successful applicant will need to be personally highly motivated, well-presented resilient and a strong communicator who can embody the brands, philosophies and family values of this strongly independent company.
The role will be remunerated with an attractive salary plus a negotiable success-based component, a car allowance and wine-company benefits.
