Barossa based + some travel.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to work with a small, highly skilled and dedicated team within a well-established and progressive, family owned and operated wine company. Reporting to the brand owners, this role will manage the overall marketing strategy and product development for Corryton Burge, Barossa Boy, Amelia Burge and Underground Barossa wine brands.

About Us
Burge Family Wine Estates is a sixth generation Barossa wine business, incorporating the premium wine brands of Corryton Burge, Barossa Boy, Amelia Burge and our cellar door Underground Barossa. Whilst the business draws on a rich heritage and history of crafting premium wines, it is also ambitious with a keen eye to grow into the future. This position for an experienced Marketing Manager will help realise our growth plans.

About the Role
The responsibilities of the Marketing Manager include but are not limited to:

• Develop and execute domestic marketing strategy and annual brand strategies
• Formulate and manage the execution of brand plans, product development, events and partnerships
• Develop our growing Direct to Consumer channels as part of an overall marketing plan
• Lead, nurture and build relationships with a small established team of marketing professionals
• Work strategically alongside owners, winemaking, production and sales teams to formulate market research and analysis to drive new product development
• Seek opportunities to increase brand awareness and sales through advertising, collaborations and events
• Manage the execution of established partnerships and events
• Manage all product development
• Lead department meetings and manage associated preparation and reporting
• Timely financial, board and annual reporting including analysis of recent marketing initiatives, budgets, achievements and ROI
• Generate media opportunities with key wine media, manage famils and work with external PR agent to drive outcomes
• Marketing activity budget and forecasting process
• Liaise with relevant industry and trade bodies where appropriate.

About You
• Exceptional wine experience including managing commercials, brand architecture and pricing strategy as well as all aspects of NPD covering LIP and domestic/ international labelling requirements
• Experience with Vintrace and Adobe Creative Suite favoured
• Industry supplier relationships favoured
• Uphold the ethos and values of each brand
• Pro-active, driven, results-based performer not afraid to work cross functionally
• Ability to manage brand planning and end to end marketing campaigns
• A proven background in marketing is essential and wine industry experience is a must
• Ability to understand and apply market insights to brand planning
• Outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships
• Demonstrate excellence, integrity and authenticity in all interactions
• Able to work collaboratively in a cohesive and accountable team environment
• Current, clean driving license is essential, as is the right to work in Australia.
