Job Description
Our client is a long-established, Australian estate-wine producer whose wines span the premium to super-premium/icon categories. In addition, the company imports and markets a range of popularly priced import/agency wine brands which are world-renowned.
An exciting new role has arisen for an experienced Marketing Manager, based in Melbourne, to take responsibility for marketing the company’s diverse international brands. These are distributed and sold through the national key account (FMCG) channels as well as traditional retail on and off-premise and emerging on-line digital channels.
Your responsibilities will include strategic brand planning and implementation for the entire suite of company-owned brands. You will take a strategic approach in creating and introducing new products as well as managing the appropriate brand architecture, product positioning and promotion to ensure the profitable growth of each brand in a dynamic and diverse marketplace.
Job Requirements
The successful applicant for this role will certainly be tertiary qualified and highly experienced in analysing and applying sales, IRI and other relevant market data, consumer insights and research. You will have a commercial, sales and results-oriented approach. In addition to classic FMCG marketing experience you will require extensive digital marketing expertise. You should be creative, able to write copy and create compelling consumer stories and engagement strategies which resonate with different consumer groups. A good knowledge of wine, experience in briefing and managing agencies, and minimum of 5 years brand marketing experience are essential.
