Seppeltsfield Wines are now seeking to appoint a National Sales Executive with a proven track record of generating luxury wine sales and further strengthening relationships across strategic channels.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of National Sales and Marketing, the role is responsible for managing sales activities against forecast, being accountable for driving new business development with a focus on both strategic On-Premise and Off-Premise channels. This will be achieved through targeted ‘value add’ activities, brand building and customer engagement initiatives. The primary purpose of this position is to identify, build and develop luxury wine sales and new business, while actively protecting base business. Developing relationships with external key trade partners as well as working with a cross-functional team internally, the specific responsibilities include:

• Exceed sales forecast (revenue and gross profit) with a strategic focus On and Off Premise channels.
• Growing existing base business.
• Driving strategic new business development.
• Building customer relationships and driving long term sales growth.

Job Requirements
The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will initially be engaged on a 12-month contract with a view to extending to an on-going basis. As the ideal candidate you will have demonstrated experience in achieving sales forecasts (achieving revenue and gross profit targets), developing and executing strategic trade engagement plans. Naturally, you will have excellent relationship and selling skills, the ability to manage a diverse and busy workload, have a positive approach and be a first-class communicator. Experience in, and an understanding of the On and Off Premise channels along with an associated network of industry contacts across the sector would be beneficial. Direct to consumer experience would also be highly regarded.
