Since its establishment in August 1969, Mitchelton has maintained an unwavering dedication to viticulture and winemaking, fostering a deep understanding of the unique climate and soils inherent to our distinguished Central Victorian Vineyards. Our premium selection of Mitchelton Wines embodies traditional craftsmanship, meticulously cultivated from our Nagambie or Heathcote Estate-owned Vineyards. These wines, characterized by their intensity, elegance, and distinctiveness, faithfully represent the region, vintage, and grape variety.
We specialise in crafting Shiraz, Riesling, Chardonnay, and Sparkling wines, meticulously overseeing the process from grape to glass. Our winemaking team is renowned for highlighting the unique regional nuances in our award-winning estate-grown varieties.

Additionally, you should exhibit the capacity to analyse, innovate, leverage, and capitalize on sales opportunities across various accounts and trade channels. To thrive in this role, you must be highly motivated, resilient, and capable of embodying the brand ethos, philosophies, and family values of our fiercely independent company.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Territory planning and expansion
- Meeting budgetary targets
- Cultivating and nurturing relationships with existing accounts
- Pursuing new business opportunities

- Possess a deep passion for and extensive knowledge of wine and varietals
- Exhibit strong computer literacy, and administrative skills
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Showcase a track record of developing and maintaining customer relationships
- Display autonomy as well as team collaboration skills
- Uphold a commitment to exemplary customer service
- Bring prior sales experience in a business-to-business environment (preferably within the wine/beverage industry)
- Hold certification in wine appreciation or education (WSET 3 or 4 preferred)
- Offer an established network of customer relationships
- Maintain impeccable personal presentation
- Be available to work evenings and weekends
- Possess a current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
- Hold a valid full driving license and own a car

This full-time position offers an attractive base salary, individual and team-based bonus incentives, and a car allowance. The role primarily covers the South Eastern Suburbs, Mornington Peninsula, Philip Island, and South Gippsland regions.
