The common purpose, of each winery in the IWBC group is to produce individual, personality-driven wines that, likewise, can stand alongside the best in the world.
Based in Kelowna, BC, reporting to the President, Darryl Brooker, the Vice-President, Marketing will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team. This new role calls for an experienced, dynamic and visionary leader who will create, develop and lead marketing strategies and their implementation for each of the Iconic Wineries in the Canada, USA and key international markets.
Job Requirements
To be the successful applicant for this position you will need to demonstrate formal wine marketing expertise and an intuitive ability to connect and engage directly with diverse consumer profiles. Digital and DtC marketing proficiency are essential. You will enjoy “living your brands” – this naturally requires outstanding communication skills, through which you inspire your team and others with your values, initiatives and compelling brand stories.
Your career will demonstrate that you are: an excellent strategic thinker, motivated, commercial, creative and entrepreneurial and with a deep understanding of luxury wine brands.
You will have a relevant university degree and a minimum of 10 years wine marketing and brand management experience, in leadership roles. During this time, you will have established effective personal and commercial relationships in key markets, attested by the successful positioning and sales of your brands. International, luxury/fine wine marketing experience would be an advantage
