Job Description
First Drop Wines in the Barossa was established in 2004. Crushing approximately 350 tons from Barossa, Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale. Shiraz focused with several alternative varieties

Being a small team, you will be involved with all aspects of the winemaking process from fruit receival, crushing/destemming, red pump-overs and hand plunging, additions, pressing, barrel work and cleaning.

Starting late January and working through to late April depending on the season.

Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
• Experience in small/medium sized winery - minimum 3 vintages.
• Current drivers and forklift license.
• A ‘can do’/self-starting mindset.
• Great attention to detail, especially with work instructions.
• A good sense of work pride and humor
• Able to work weekends, occasional long days, and split shifts.
• An ability to work alone on occasions, and within a small team.
• Awareness of personal and workplace safety
