Job Description
Located in the Barossa Valley South Australia, Sons of Eden is a premium wine producer specialising in hand crafted wines from old vine Shiraz, Grenache and Riesling varieties. We are currently seeking a small number of highly motivated and enthusiastic people to become part of the Sons of Eden 2026 vintage cellar crew. We are a small producer and you will therefore be involved in all aspects of the winemaking process from fruit receival, destemming, pump-overs/hand plunging, pressing, barrel work and cleaning. If you love wine and the energy created around harvest you will enjoy being part of our vintage crew.
The vintage period of employment will run from middle of February to the end of April, approximately 2.5 months, with the possibility of extending this if required depending on the season.
Job Requirements
An understanding of winery cellar operations and processes is desirable but not essential.
* A positive and self-motivated attitude with great attention to detail is essential
* The ability to work as a team member, with a can-do approach
* Need to be physically fit as this is a hands-on position
* Willing to work extended hours, with weekends and some split shift requirements
* Willing to be trained on a forklift (will provide training)
