Job Description
Zonzo Estate is in the Yarra Valley and is seeking cellar hands for vintage 2026 to work in our beautiful urban winery.
Zonzo Estate is focused on premium wines made from estate fruit and a selection of specialist vineyards growing Italian varieties from across the state.
The intake mix for 2026 includes cool climate Yarra Valley classic varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. In addition to this, a selection of well known and lesser known Italian varieties will be part of the harvest.
The winery is set up to handle small batch fermentation, attention to detail winemaking where quality is the driver.
Job Requirements
We are looking for successful applicants to join our team with at least one, preferable two vintages of experience across multiple tasks and a keenness to learn. You must also be prepared to follow directions and adhere to winery safety at all times.
The role covers many aspects of harvest including ferment monitoring, fruit receival, barrel work and cleaning.
Ability to make a decent coffee, always a plus.
In addition to winery skills, applicants should be team players, have an excellent work ethic, be punctual and love all things wine.
Please note below essentials:
* Valid Forklift Licence.
* Own transport.
* Minimum 80 hours driving a forklift.
Applicants must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid existing Australian work visa.
This position will be physically demanding and a pre employment medical questionnaire will be part of the application process.
For successful early applications shared cottage accommodation may be available.
