Vintage Cellar Hands

At Make Wines Australia, we produce premium wines from our McLaren Vale, Blewitt Springs, and Adelaide Hills vineyards, including the renowned Beresford Estate and Press & Bloom range. Located in the beautiful Langhorne Creek region, our fully equipped winery is home to a wide array of products, including Galway Pipe Grand & Rare Tawny, Andrew Garrett Sparkling Shiraz, and Three Oaks Cider. Our expanding McLaren Vale wine portfolio includes exciting alternative varieties such as Grillo, Pecorino and Fiano.
We are looking for several enthusiastic people to join our Langhorne Creek winery crew as Vintage Cellar Hands for the 2025 harvest season. Starting in February 2025 for approximately 8-12 weeks, you’ll be part of a team that works primarily during the day and afternoon shifts. No night shifts are required.
Previous vintage experience is an advantage but not essential, as we provide full on-the-job training, including Confined Space Entry certification. For the right candidate, there may also be opportunities for ongoing employment beyond vintage. If you have experience in vineyard assessment and sampling, across administration or cellar operations management, a more varied Vintage role may also be available.

• Operating crushers, pumps, and related equipment
• Racking, wine transfers, and other cellar movements
• Filtration, fermentation, sampling, and pump overs
• Barrel work and cellar hygiene

If you are passionate about the wine industry and eager to contribute to a growing, flexible and dynamic team, we encourage you to apply.

• Flexibility to work varying hours during the vintage period.
• Understanding and commitment to safe work practices.
• Own reliable transport and accommodation.
• Forklift licence will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
