Job Description
Lodestone Winery is a premium small batch Winery located at Mount Torrens in the Adelaide Hills.
Lodestone processes approx 1500 tonnes of grapes annually and also offers Traditional Method Sparkling Wine production and packaging services to its contract clients.

We are looking for Vintage Cellar Hands and a Night-shift Winemaker to work during the harvest period. Our harvest season typically lasts for 10 weeks. We typically also have on-going work in the cellar for some of the vintage crew after the harvest finishes.

The successful applicants will be enthusiastic, possess a "can do" attitude and be keen to learn and take on new challenges.

The job will involve 12 hour shifts and a 6 day working week for much of the harvest period. Some cellar hands will be required to work night-shift.

Start date will be Late January or Early February 2024 depending on vintage conditions.

Our rates of pay are determined according to the Australian Wine Industry Award and including all penalties and allowances.

Job Requirements
Vintage cellar hands will be required to undertake all aspects of vintage cellar work, grape processing and wine production.
The roles are physically active and will involve overtime hours and some of the cellar crew will be required to work night-shift.
Previous experience is not a requirement but is desirable.
Applicants with a forklift experience will be favored.
Applicants must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid Australian work permit.
You will need to have your own transport to get you to and from our Winery at Mount Torrens. There is no suitable public transport service available.
