Job Description
Mr. Mick Winery, Cellar Door and Kitchen, is a vibrant, rapidly growing global fine wine business situated in the heart of the beautiful Clare Valley. We are looking for a vintage laboratory technician for approximately 3 months to support winemaking and grape intake functions over the busy vintage period.
Job Requirements
• Timely and accurate analysis and quality testing of wines
• Measuring and recording of fermentation data and enzymatic analysis
• Attention to detail, logical thought process and strong work ethic
• Ability to use initiative and operate autonomously to maintain efficient work flow
• Self-motivated with good time management skills
• Interest in wine and winemaking
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours over vintage (peak time, 5 to 6 days per week – 10 to 12 hours per day).
Tertiary qualifications in a science or winemaking discipline will be highly regarded and industry experience is preferred.
Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia.
