We are seeking an experienced Cellar Hand / Winemaker to join our winemaking team based in Tasmania for the 2020 Vintage.

About Us: Brown Family Wine Group, an innovative family-owned multi brand wine business, is one of Australia’s most loved and trusted wine brands. We have recently grown to five brands - Brown Brothers, Devil's Corner, Pirie, Tamar Ridge and most recently Innocent Bystander. We are passionate about our wines and our core values of Wellbeing, Respect, Innovation and Pride in What We Achieve Together. Most recently we have been certified as "A Great Place to Work" and are committed to honouring this recognition throughout all aspects of the business.

About the Winery: Kayena Winery is in Tasmania, north of Launceston in the renowned Tamar Valley and is a leading producer of quality cool climate Tasmanian wines. The winery draws grapes from a wide range of sites throughout Tasmania, processing approximately 3,000 tonnes annually.

What’s Required: We seek a pro-active individual who demonstrates strong organisational skills and the ability to lead and motivate others in a busy winery environment. You will possess excellent communication skills, a high level of self-motivation and be committed to a high standard of wine quality.

What’s on Offer: The opportunity to work in the production of high quality still and sparkling wines, with a focus on Pinot Noir. Dollars towards accommodation allowance.

Essential: Given the location of the Winery, a driver’s licence and access to a vehicle will be essential. Only applicants who have Australian citizenship, residency or a valid work permit AND are experienced Australian Forklift Licence holder will be considered for these roles.

Timing: Depending upon the season, you must be available in mid February with the period of employment being up to 12 weeks.

Applications detailing experience and qualifications should be emailed using the 'APPLY FOR JOB’ link above, prior to close of business on 31 October, 2019.
