management, installation and contract service provider in Eastern Victoria.
Based in Coldstream, TVS supports more than 1,000 hectares of premium vineyard across the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, Heathcote and beyond, including more than 250 hectares under full property management.


About the Role

TVS is on the lookout for an experienced Viticulturist & Grower Liaison with a passion for high quality viticulture. This role presents a unique opportunity to work across a variety of vineyards in stunning locations and with premium quality vineyards and growers. The purpose of this role is to ensure the overall health, productivity and outcomes of our managed vineyards continue to meet our high quality standards. You’ll oversee annual planning, pest and disease monitoring and provide expert viticultural advice to staff and clients through direct management and support of operational teams.

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Providing technical support and viticultural advice to staff and customers
• Giving direction to and assisting to grow our in-house labour crews – managing operational efficiencies and fruit quality expectations
• Fostering productive and positive client relationships
• Improving and expanding vineyard sample and data collection
• Managing technical record keeping
• Client reporting
• Managing sustainability programs and ensuring compliance

Job Requirements
Requirements

• Degree in Viticulture or Agricultural/Horticultural Science
• Several years practical, ‘hands-on’ vineyard/viticulture experience
• Experience managing staff is a desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines
• A self-starter, with an ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
• Competent and confident computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Current Australian drivers license
• Flexibility with work schedule and daily location
